Message From the President - Annual Board Meeting
It is time for our Annual Board Meeting on June 4th at 6:30 at the Carlsbad Senior Center (799 Pine Ave). I encourage all of you to come show your support by running for a position or have a vote for the incoming CYB board. Now is your chance to make a difference.
- The following Executive Board Positions will be open: President, Vice President of Operations, Vice President of Administration, Player Agent, Secretary and Treasurer. In order to be considered for one of these positions you must download attached Board Member Nomination Form and return to me at president@carlsbadyouthbaseball.org by June 3rd at 7 p.m.
- Commissioners, Schedulers, Snack Bar Administrator for both Chase and Poinsettia fields, Website Administrator, and Registration Page Administrator positions are also available. These are key volunteer positions and provide an opportunity to be more involved in the success of the CYB.
- We are looking for managers & coaches for Fall Ball, so please remember to sign up when you register for Fall Ball.

Mitchell Thorp Awards
Each year, the Mitchell Thorp Foundation awards one player who exemplifies a passion for the game, a willingness to help others, who is also a strong supportive teammate, as well as someone who has a strong academic and community involvement. Click here for more information or if you would like to nominate a player. Nominations must by submitted by May 13.
Email Addresses
The board and division commissioners use the account email addresses to communicate information to the league families. If your email address has changed, or if you have opted out of receiving communications, you may miss out on important information. Please take this time to verify/update your email address using the following steps:
- Click on the 'Registration' link
- Click on the 'My Account' link located near the top, right corner of this page
- If prompted, enter your username and password and click on the 'Login' button
- Click on the 'Info' tab
- If changes are required, click on the 'Edit Info' link in the 'Actions' box
- Update your email address
- Verify that 'Please send me newsletters and league emails' is checked
- Click on the 'Update' button to save the changes
